Questions
How does the free trial work?
Pick a plan and add a card. Oscar is yours for 7 days at no charge; we email you three days before it ends. Cancel before then in Settings → Billing and you’re never charged. Otherwise it continues at the plan’s monthly price.
What’s the difference between Basic and Pro?
Both include every network Oscar posts to. Pro has no limit on posts a day, checks every figure against live sources, writes up your field’s news every day, writes two drafts of every new idea and keeps the better one, makes 15 videos a month instead of 1 with a digital twin of you on camera, and carries no Oscar branding on your guides’ pages and emails.
Which networks are included?
All of them, on both plans: Threads, X and LinkedIn. Connect as many as you post to; there’s no charge per network. On LinkedIn only what you add to the queue goes out, as LinkedIn’s rules ask.
Which network do I start on?
Any of them, or all three. You pick when you set up, once your trial has started: nothing to choose before. X and LinkedIn connect right away. On Threads, Meta asks for one step while it reviews Oscar: setup asks for it, we add your account by hand, usually within a day, and you can carry on with the rest meanwhile.
Do I have to approve every post?
At first, yes: every post waits in your queue for your yes, so you can read it, rewrite it with a note or save it for later. Once you trust it, turn on the autopilot on Threads or X (it asks your permission first). On LinkedIn every post always waits for you.
How do videos work?
Oscar makes short vertical videos from a topic or your best posts, narrated in your own voice (record a minute or two) or a studio voice. Basic includes 1 a month, Pro 15 and a digital twin of you on camera; more are $5 each, added to your next invoice, and you’re asked before one costs extra. Your trial includes one. Today you download them; posting straight to YouTube, Instagram and TikTok is coming soon.
Can I use Oscar inside Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes, on both plans. Connect it once and ask about your accounts, turn notes into posts, or run your queue from the chat. Your app asks before anything goes out.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Any time, in Settings → Billing. Cancel and Oscar keeps running to the end of the month you’ve paid for.
